Students have fun recording their favourite songs / riffs
Once a student has been with me for a while, we move into performance mode by recording a favourite song from their repetoire. We prefer this choice as it has several benefits. Mainly, the student gets to experience the recording process and realizes how much fun it can be. Secondly, the songs are rehearsed in preparation for recording, which instills greater confidence in their own ability to play. It also results in a produced song file that can be shared with friends and family.
Here are some of the current and past student recordings that have been conducted in my home studio:
Girls:
Emma learned enough about timing and reading to teach herself this version of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah hallelujah.mp3 Emma Julian
Time After Time <PENDING>. Eva Cassidy's version of a beautiful song. Leah Hanvey

Learning many songs of the past few years, Fyfe selected a few minutes of Stairway to Heaven, Fyfe Barraclough
